True fit. I got this jacket for Southern California winters. If you are going to wear heavy layers underneath size up.My 11 yr old granddaughter loves a lightweight coat & she wears her hoodie under it if real cold. She's in lake's sizes now & this is a Large. The medium I bought 1st for her was a tad small so I have that one to Her 8 yr old sister, soon to be 9. I like the shiny thermal lining in part of it to maintain heat, especially when not wearing her hoodie underneath. She likes it too. Columbia coats fits so nicely & I have an extra large for myself in a different color which is the height & at on my review.I loved the jacket it was soft and comfortable and it’s a light weight jacket so it’s not bulky.Check it runs very small. Had to return it. Love the style.Loved that the jacket was so lightweight. The Omni heat really helped in keeping me warm.Love the jacket! Runs on the smaller side usually wear a large but ordered an x-large and fits good. Can wear a sweater underneath comfortably.I like it. Not as heavy as I was wanting I got an XLI’m 127lbs, 5 foot 3 inches tall. I bought a large so I could wear sweatshirts and hoodies under the coat and absolutely love it!!!! It is lightweight, thin, but warm for winter weather.Had to returnit
